From the roof, I could see that we were right beside a small stadium and about 8 or 9 clay tennis courts. I’ve never played on clay and suggested we see how much it is, just for fun. It turns out that it was the official Moroccan tennis academy and centre meaning that only members and professionals were allowed to play. Even if I had my ATP world tour pass, I doubt they would let us in, toms and sandals with no racquets and no idea.

Having not managed to get any sun during this trip due to constantly being on the move, today was when we would cash in. We were at the rooftop pool from 9.30am until about 5pm, skipping lunch and alternating between sun lounger and pool all day.

When we finally called it a day of good solid tanning, we could see the gains we made in the mirror - pale white skin beside glowing red skin. Yes mum, we did put suncream on, and we knew that we would be a perfect golden colour tomorrow…we are locals now remember.

In our gorgeous new tan, we returned to the rooftop for a drink to work out what we would do this evening. We were leaving early in the morning so we couldn’t be too wild. We had picked seats right beside the speakers in the bar so it was just a blessing to escape and wonder along the roads to find somewhere to eat.

As it was our last night in Morocco, of course we had to have some traditional food. So, when we walked past Pastez, we got ourselves two margarita pizzas. We were just sick of tagine’s and couscous at this point.
If you thought that we would have a fairytale ending today you would be wrong. Just as we were finishing our pizza’s, nosebleed #3 happened again and this time it was a big one. My nose was pouring blood and you would be hard pushed to tell the difference between the pizza sauce and my blood.
I’m afraid Anna was no help as at the other side of the table, she had decided that she was about to faint. Rocking on her chair and drenched in sweat, I’m not sure what got into her but blood does make her feel weak so that obviously added to it. To make things worse, the waiter came over in the middle of all of this to ask if we wanted Dessert. He got the hint that we were happy enough.
Thankfully, Anna made a speedy recovery aided by some fizzy coke and breathing exercises, whilst I had plugged the gap with a napkin. On a slow news day full of sunbathing and relaxing, our blog was definitely destined for some excitement so perhaps our bodies knew what it needed to do. Anything for the fans!

Also sorry we had no pictures of the incidents, we were a bit preoccupied! It was our final night in Morocco and I had found our favourite movie channel to sing us to sleep - Jack and the beanstalk tonight!
