I was feeling fresh this morning, can’t say the same for the boys though. After a few glasses of water we headed to Boojum for a rescue burrito. When eating a burrito you have to forget about your table manners, with soured cream and salsa dripping off my chin, I demolished it, washing it down with a pint of milk. A’moooo’zing.

After the food we went straight to St Patrick’s Catherdral to pray for our sins and ask for forgiveness…sorted, we got the all clear. Phew.

Whilst the boys serenaded me with some Bach and Beethoven on the piano I caught up with some blog writing. Once I finished, we headed into the centre of Dublin to visit Trinity College Library. When we arrived, the queue was enormous though. Some of you will know I’m not one to visit a library on a regular basis so the idea of waiting to see one didn’t exactly excite me. I had seen pictures however of this one on Instagram and it did look pretty cool. To avoid the queue we went online and purchased them allowing us to skip it and walk straight in. I am glad we went but I don’t plan to go to another library in the near future.

After the Library, we explored Dublin a bit more, walking through Grafton Street to the famous Molly Malone statue. The boys wanted a picture with her…. 2 pairs of absolute tits.

It was approaching 5 o’clock and we still hadn’t had an alcoholic beverage. Something was wrong. We went straight to a local pub – Fallons – to quickly sort it out though. They really do serve the best Guinness and Bulmers in the whole of Ireland. Once we sorted out our thirst we decided to go to the Evensong in the Cathedral to check out the visiting choir from Australia. I must admit, I’ve sang better in the shower.
Today was about giving our body what it wants/needs to recover from a heavy night on the sesh, it wanted a curry, so a curry it got.

After a butter chicken or two, we went back to our friends house for a drink with his dad. He was such a good storyteller and had us crippled over belly laughing for a solid hour. However, before the pubs closed we walked back to temple bar for some more drinks. My bf is going to be muscleman after all this Guinness he has consumed… I mean, he already is.

In true Irish fashion we finished our night with a Baileys and Whiskey in another bar, before hoping on a taxi bike home. Don’t let the bed bugs bite!
